The means you’ll have to be diligent and do a little research.

The last thing that you want is to spend money on a certificate, diploma, or degree that is worthless.

Your best bet is to stick with some of the more reputable online universities like the University of Phoenix, Devry, Kaplan, AIU University….the list goes on be these are some places to start.

Online University

Posted by onlineuniversityinfo | January 9, 2009.

There are any number of reasons to proclaim that the internet is such a wonderful thing that we have in our lives, but perhaps one of the greatest reasons is because of the ease in which one can get a degree from an Online University.  We all live busy lives and for one reason or another just are not able to attend a regular brick and mortar University… so then online education becomes a blessing.

The reasons of course vary for someone not being able to attend a regular college or university, but the greatest majority of them is usually either due to lack of funds, or simply lack of time.

The sad part is that so many people really do want to further their education but just can’t.  This may be due to a personal goal, or to get ahead at work.  Let’s face it, everyone wants to better themselves.  Everyone wants to turn their lives into a success –– but when college is out of reach financially, or because of time restraints then that puts a huge damper on ones motivation.

Those people who have that problem now have the option that no generation before us has had.  When you further your education through an Online University you’re able to better your life, get that degree that will lead to a better job and more money, all from the comfort of your own home, and at your own pace.

Now I know you probably wonder if your online degree will have as much credence as a regular degree, and that’s a valid concern.  But, the fact is that as long as you are diligent and find an accredited university, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about, and these degrees are becoming so common that employers are used to see this now.

In fact, most brick and mortar colleges and universities conduct their own distance learning and online education courses.

So how does it work?

Well, as with any college, you’ll have to take a regular aptitude test, as well as pass the required entrance exam.  This is for the college to see where you’re at in your education, and see that you’re qualified for the classes that you’re taking.

The big difference in the classrooms is simply the communication.  Instead of sitting in a class or conference hall, you’ll be at home and your classroom and lecture will be substituted by email and online forums.  The workshops and group projects will be completed through chat and/or video conferences. This means that your fellow students could be from virtually anywhere in the world, which is quite fascinating in and of itself.

You’ll find that Online Universities offer a very wide range of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees Online, and you’ll very likely be able to find something that you’re looking to pursue.
The trick however is having a strong will and discipline, since you’ll be working at your own pace, and nobody will be looking over your shoulder to get assignments done, you’ll have to rely on yourself for motivation and integrity here.  The lack of schedule and routine can take a bit getting used to.  But for the most part, Online University students tend to do well, and learn just as much as a regular student who attends classes at the schools.

The Online University has changed the way people have hope in their futures, and it may just change your own future as well.

Posted by onlineuniversityinfo | January 8, 2009.

There are many benefits to getting a University Online Degree as opposed to changing your entire life around to get a degree from a traditional college campus.   This is quickly becoming one of the most popular alternatives for people to get their degrees and advance their careers and financial lives…as well as the happiness that they feel with their jobs.

Here are the 5 Top Benefits of Obtaining a University Online Degree

1.    You don’t have to change your whole entire life and schedule completely upside down.  Let’s face it, life is so busy now we often don’t know which side is up and which side is down.  Getting the time to go back to school and get a college degree is just impossible for some of us.  That’s why an University Online Degree is perfect for the busy person in this world.

2.    Go at your own pace.  Again, life is busy and complicated, and when you have a regular job that you have to be at from nine to five (plus), and then get home and feed the kids…not to mention all of the after school  activities that goes with parenthood, it’s unfeasible to expect to be able to keep up with a class schedule.  When you get your degree from an online university, you get to work at your own pace.  That means 20 minutes here and there is fine and dandy, as long as you’re consistently getting things done.

3.    Multiple areas of study.  You can find nearly any area of study that you want through and receive your university online degree.  If they offer it at a traditional college campus, then the odds are that they offer it at the online university as well.

The other great thing is that if one university online degree program doesn’t offer what you’re looking for, then there are tons more to choose from.

4.    High quality education.  So many people worry themselves sick whether or not their online degree is going to be worth anything once they take it out to the workforce.  The truth is that as long as you choose an accredited and respected university online degree program then you’ll be in the same standing as the person who sat at campus for however many years.   The crucial thing is that the school is accredited and has a good reputation of graduating quality students.

Online Universities like the University of Phoenix, Devry, and Kaplan University all have this reputation and you’d be fine with any one of their degrees… plus there are many more just like them.

5.    The prospect of a great future where you are able to work in the career of your choice, and make more money because of your Online University Degree.

That’s not to mention the pride that you’ll feel knowing that you’ve taken charge of your life and completed something that most people will never get to complete.

Accredited University: Why It’s Crucial to Further Your Education Through an Accredited Online University

Posted by onlineuniversityinfo | December 29, 2008.

You’ve been looking to register for an Online University but you just aren’t sure which to trust.  Everyday you have advertisements thrown at you from all angles about different online education institutes, but you don’t want to waste your time with one that might not be an accredited university correct?

That would be a shame.  Just imagine spending all of that time, effort, and money only to find out that your online university degree is virtually useless.   You’re correct to be concerned, however don’t let that stop you from starting your journey as soon as possible…because you know that the sooner that you start the sooner you’ll be making more money and enjoying more of the lifestyle that you know you deserve.

Here’s why it’s important to register and get your degree from ONLY an accredited university

It’s actually very simple…a degree that’s not from an accredited university is basically worthless to future employees.  That obviously sort of defeats the purpose right.  So therefore don’t even waste your time with anything else but accredited schools online.

The problem lies in the fact that there are so many universities online…and new ones popping up everyday…that’s it’s hard to tell which one to trust right?

Well there are few things that you can look for to help you.

Universities are accredited to uphold their reputation basically.  There is a strict series of reviews and investigations that each institute must go through and pass in order to be accredited.  For you, you must do some homework and it’s really not hard.

First off, to find an accredited university, just look for schools that are accredited.  I know that may sound ridiculous but that’s the first thing to look out for is an accreditation.  Now you don’t want to blindly just believe an online university because they claim on their website to be accredited.  Do some homework, call around and talk to the school and make sure that you get your own proof and sense of confidence.

There are a couple of things that might signal a red flag right away can be watched out for to shorten your investigative work though.

You definitely want to see a physical address and not just a P.O. Box, and especially not an email address.  Never ever register for an online university…whether they say they’re an accredited university or not when their only contact info is an email address.  You may as well throw your money down the toilet.

You also may as well throw your money down the toilet if the online university degree that you receive is simply one that you’re buying.  That’s not going to get you anywhere in life…especially a good job.  There’s got to be some schooling in your school.

When you register you should be paying semester or course by course, not for the degree in one shot.  That is essentially buying a degree.

There should be a staff that you can see and learn more about.  You should be taught by a real professor…and not simply an online book or course.  There should be an administrative staff as well.

Basically, an accredited university online looks like an accredited university offline.  Staff, professors, administration, an address, a place to even visit if you so inclined, and actual university level learning.  And last but not least an accreditation.  Go with nothing less than an accredited university.

University Distance Learning

Posted by onlineuniversityinfo | December 22, 2008.

With the help of the internet, people from all over the world are able to get an education much easier online because of University distance learning programs.  These are programs where you can earn a degree in any number of fields from right at home on your computer.

This is a great thing for so many people because they just don’t have the time or the right schedule to be able to pull off their current career and their new pursuit of an online degree at the same time.  Therefore the University distance learning opportunity helps them with that problem head on.

If you’re someone who has wanted to create a better life for themselves, but haven’t pursued that goal because of the prospect of having to go to chance your whole entire routine (somehow) and get to a classroom, then it’s crucial for you to understand the whole distance learning concept.

University distance learning programs are extremely popular nowadays, and that’ due to the fact that they’re so much more accepted and looked upon as much more legitimate now by employers.

With distance learning, you’ll be able to work from home at your own pace toward your online university degree, right from your own computer…or even Starbucks if you have a laptop.

Distance learning utilizes the internet and all of its wonderful technology such as email, web conferencing and chat, discussion boards, audio and video downloads, and even e-books in order to provide you with an education close to the one that you would get by attending a traditional college campus.

The quality of education is just as good as a traditional college or university as well…the only that’s important to note is that you must be sure that you find an accredited university distance learning program.   This is vitally important if you want your degree to actually mean something.

Though online distance learning programs are great and useful, as with anything else on the internet there’s the dark-side of scam and fraud.  These are generally known as degree or diploma mills where you’re essentially paying for the degree ( a degree that means nothing to employers by the way) and not the education.

Accredited schools have been through a review and have passed that review ensuring that these are high quality education institutions online.  This means that when you earn your degree from the university distance learning program of your choice, that you’ll have degree that future employers (or current ones) will deem as being of high quality and value.

This will make you more valuable and make your Degree much more marketable in what’s already a very highly competitive job market.

Getting your degree from a University Distance Learning program means that you’ve taken your future into your own hands, and decided to enhance your life and career.

It means that you were able to do it at your own pace and timing, and still be caught up with the pact.

Online University Education

Posted by onlineuniversityinfo | December 15, 2008.

What a wonderful world we’re living in during this computer age, and it only keeps getting better and better.

With technology advancing at rapid pace, and internet connections becoming lightning fast, and video and chat conferencing tools becoming more and more crystal clear, Online University Education is also on the rise.

Getting an education online is easier than ever, and more popular than ever.  Just as important is the fact that employers are looking at online education as more and more credible so the student no longer has to look over their shoulders and feel the sting of the stigma that an online degree has had.

Online University Education seems to level the playing field for nearly everyone involved.  It creates opportunities for those who can’t afford the higher priced standard physical colleges and universities – plus it gives those who are already out in the workforce a chance to further their education at their own pace.

Though you still need to take an aptitude test and pass an entrance exam at most of the accredited online universities, the only other requirements are simply a computer with an internet connection.  If you’re reading this from home, looks like you just need to find yourself an online university, register, and take the required entrance exams to start your online university education.

As mentioned above this just keeps getting more and more accepted and popular because so many people have been waiting for this opportunity to further their education.  Besides the fact that an online university education is more affordable, it’s also much more convenient.

Classes are conducted online through use of email, audio and video downloads, conference calls, and video chat which promotes interaction between students and professors.  Most of the online universities will have a library available for the students to get their materials, and study guides are often downloadable in E-book form, or even audio and video format.

It really doesn’t get much more flexible than online education.  You can basically do what you’ve got to do throughout your regular work time, and get your school work done at your convenience even if it’s at 2 a.m.

However it’s important that you are able to discipline yourself and actually get the work done.  Just like anything, without a daily or weekly routine it’s very easy to let things go, and never get it done.  In fact, it’s probably fair to estimate that 90% of people who fail with an online university do so because of procrastination and lack of discipline.

Getting Ahead in Your Current Job

Besides the fact that various degrees are available in many different fields through an online university education, it’s also important to note that many people are able to get ahead in their current job by taking online classes that have to do with their current position.

Many employers will even pay for or reimburse for their employees to further their education in the field of which they work, or earn a degree.  Since these employees obviously have to be at work an online university education is the perfect solution for both employee and employer.

If you’re looking to get an online university education, there’s never been a better time for you than now.  Wasting any more time in getting your online degree could only be detrimental to your future.

Accredited means that the school or program has received an accreditation, which is a system of independent reviews, conducted by an outside committee, to approve and assure the quality of the education material and online program.

All offline high schools, colleges, and Universities have to go through the same rigorous review and accreditation and therefore that’s what helps make your online diploma legitimate in the eyes of future employers and future college, as well as online university.

To start with here are two that you can check out right away. Both of these are accredited and so are good places to start:
